The latest sanctions on Russia by the EU do not include sanctions on energy and aluminium imports to EU. The 13th package of sanctions names 200 individuals and companies as suppliers to the Russian military. Additionally, the measures are not significant in terms of imposing a price cap on Russian oil exports.
For the sanctions to become effective, unanimous approval must be reached. 26 out of the 27 member states approved the package, with Hungary not opposing the new measures.
As for Aluminium imports, they are predicted to be included in the 14th package of sanctions.
