Hydrogen Projects supported by EU-CEF

Through its Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), EU intends to allocate €850mn of its €5.8bn support fund, related to energy projects spanning 2021 to 2027, to energy and infrastructure projects. The CEF funding will be accessible for projects listed on EU’s Projects of Common Interest (PCI) as well as Projects of Mutual Interest (PMI), which are projects between EU and non-EU states. The PCI list includes 65 projects focusing on hydrogen pipelines, import terminals, and electrolysers.
