Since 2022 free allocation are allocated on or before 28 February of each year. The deadline for submitting verified Activity Level Data Reports will be the 31 March of each year. Operators with eligible installations who applied for free allowances for 2021-2025 and UK ETS new entrants will be granted free allowances by the UK ETS authority.

The Registry Administrator will open the Aircraft Operator Holding Account (AOHA) to record free allowance allocations annual verified aviation emissions, allowance transfers, allowance surrenders.

Surrender allowances that are equivalent to your reportable emissions. Use the free or bought allowances to cancel your emissions.
